Fall/Winter BE Cares Fundraiser

See this content in the original post

Hello BE Family,

Over the last two years we have provided financial support and goods for individuals and or charities that align with the values and culture of Body Elite. We raised money and matched training for a BE member going through the hardships of cancer. We raised funds and awareness for Mental Health America. This last spring, we provided money and household goods for Cay Galgon in Bethlehem. Every give back we've done has gotten bigger and better, and is helping to form what we call the BE Cares Fund.

Recently, I was asking a few of our members what charities or causes they like to support in order to get some ideas for our Fall/Winter BE Cares Fund give back. There were many great suggestions. Then recently it hit me... we are already working with a great organization that's local and needs our help even further. That is the BK Diamond Dynasty youth girls basketball program of the city of Allentown.

Over the last 3 months BE has volunteered training and their facility to two youth girls teams every Sunday for a team strength and conditioning session. The girls range from 8 years old to 13. They come excited, focused, and grateful to get the chance to workout and get better. Noticeable improvements have been made in the span of these workouts. More importantly it shows them the hard work and commitment needed to make it to the next level in athletics or in life.

Recently, the head coach Brit Kholi asked BE to sponsor them in an upcoming Thanksgiving weekend tournament. We gladly accepted, but it made us aware of the costs of playing a game they love. Also, this last week I was able to be at one of their practices. It was fun to see the excitement and love for the game that only kids can have. However, I noticed things like minimal basketballs and other basic equipment needed for the girls to be able to improve and develop.

This BE Cares fundraiser we'll be looking to raise enough money to pay for costs for future tournaments, leagues, and equipment. Please consider giving a donation to link below.

We usually like to host a free group workout to further raise money and awareness to the cause. We understand that the holiday season is crazy and finding an optimal time for everyone is very challenging. What we decided is that any donation you choose to give we will match with a free small group session. Lucky you, we are expanding our class availability in December!

Thanks in advance,

Mark Radio
